The treatable body areas are both the face and body.

It’s not the most comfortable treatment. However, we do as much as we can to help avoid discomfort by applying a topical numbing cream pre-procedure, and by using a cooling device during the treatment.

In-clinic hyfrecation, performed by a dermatologist, effectively removes warts through cauterization using high-frequency electrical currents. This method typically results in minimal scarring and promotes quick healing of the treated area. Additionally, hyfrecation can reduce the risk of wart recurrence.

Post-Treatment: Avoid washing your face for the first 6 hours. Refrain from applying makeup for the first 24 hours. Avoid touching or manipulating the treated areas to prevent infection or scarring. Let the scabs naturally fall off, typically within 7 days.

Results are often long-lasting, but the duration can vary depending on individual factors such as skin type and the size of the treated area. It's important to note that while hyfrecation effectively removes existing warts, new warts may appear over time. If treated warts recur, additional hyfrecation treatments may be necessary as recommended by the clinic.

We recommend that patients undergo this procedure whenever they notice warts on their body.

Yes. After the procedure, it is normal to experience some redness, swelling, and the formation of a scab at the previous lesion site. The redness and swelling typically resolve on their own within 3 days, and the scab will naturally fall off in approximately 7 days. If necessary, we will provide topical steroids or antibiotics to aid in the healing process.

For best results, we recommend avoiding makeup 24 hours after the treatment.
